Are you guys ready for it? It’s time for another joint madcap recap by your favorite madcapping duo, Raine and MadDino! We’ve decided to take on the 2004 Full House remake that follows a K-pop duo called Take One that becomes inextricably linked to a hapkido instructor. It’s based on the manhwa by Woo Son-yeon.
Based on what we’ve seen so far, we’re in for a lot of laughs and a lot of snark.
Because the show divides each episode into two parts so that it airs four days a week instead of two, we’re going to post twice a week and cover a complete episode. So, MadDino will host odd-numbered episodes (that air Monday and Tuesday) and I will host even-numbered episodes (that air Wednesday and Thursday).
character introductions
Lee Tae-ik
Actor: No Min-woo, (Ahn Do-gyu as child/Oh Jae-mu as teen)
Nickname: Sheepy, the Sheep
Tae-ik is our typical prickly male lead who has got the looks, the talent and a healthy dose of nasty added to his personality. His is part of the K-pop duo, Take One.
His parents died when he was young and he became an idol to regain the house that he grew up in.
He is allergic to cats and pretty much every fabric known to man. Stylists have an aversion to him. His partner in Take One, Kang-hwi as an aversion to him. Personally, his hair makes me have an aversion to him…
We do see a bit of niceness in him that is quickly covered up by his pride. Oh pride…
Won Kang-hwi
Actor: Park Ki-woong
Nickname: Bunny, Cat-bunny
The fashion savvy second member of Take One and the one that people tend to like more. I admit, I like him more. He’s nicer to everyone and not so snotty – well, save towards everyone but Tae-ik.
Jang Man-ok (Michelle Jang)
Actor: Hwang Jung-eum
Nickname: none
She sports the same unfortunate hair as Tae-ik…
She grew up with her grandfather who is a martial arts master and now is one herself. He changed her name from Michelle Jang to Jang Man-ok, which she hates. She is into fashion and starts up a little shop as soon as her grandfather travels out of country.
Hrm…I wonder how these three will be connected. You know, Tae-ik who fires stylists, Kang-hwi the fashionista and Man-ok the aspiring stylist…
Jin Se-ryung
Actor: Yoo Seol-ah
Nickname: She-monster, Evil One, Evil
Tae-ik’s ex-girlfriend who thinks she can get whatever she wants ’cause she’s pretty and famous. She’s obnoxious and needs to die.
Jang Man-ok’s grandfather
Actor: Jang Hang-sun

Nickname: Lame Jerk, President Wannabe, Wannabe
The shifty president of UEnterLJ that manages Take One.
Han Ga-ryun
Actor: Kim Do-yun

Man-ok’s friend and partner in business. She’s a money-grubbing, annoying mooch. Grumble, grumble, grumble. Oh yeah, she’s obsessed with “Kang-hwi oppa.”
Song No-ra
Actor: Jung Ji-ah
Nickname: Woman in the red hat, French Fan
Take One‘s fan who partners up with Ga-ryun and Reporter Soh and faints at the slightest provocation
Bae Go-dong
Actor: Lee Seung-hyo

Take One‘s bitch. He runs around and does stuff for Tae-ik and Kang-hwi.
Billy the Mannequin
Actor: an awesome mannequin

Man-ok’s trusty mannequin that got busted up by Tae-ik the sheep. Don’t worry, Billy. We’re always on your side. Boris, too.
