I love Korean food so it should come as no surprise that one of my most anticipated activities was a cooking class with Korea’s foremost food director, the elegant Kim Su-jin of the Food & Culture Academy. Above you’ll see my japchae, which was quite tasty if I do say so myself. Before Korea Joa 2015 settled in front of our gas stoves for a lesson with Teacher Lee “Ellie” Hye-won, we got to interview Director Kim and hear all about her love for Korean food and an explanation about what exactly she does in order to be a food director.
